FAQs

  • Alison will create a magical experience for you and your guests throughout the night. Each live calligraphy package is curated for your specific number of guest and hours. For large volume events with shorter timeframes, I will recommend more artists and assistants to ensure each guest gets an item.

  • I engrave by hand, using a nail drill (like the ones they use at nail salons), so there is no smoke or laser involved. There is a bit of dust, but it is isolated to the engraving table.

  • Depending on the character limit, each glass takes anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes. I can also do simple line drawings which take slightly longer.

  • All I require is a table, chair, and whatever items we have discussed to be written on! I will bring everything else that I need for calligraphy! Vendor meals are also appreciated!

  • For live engraving, I will not need an outlet. My drill is portable and I make sure it is fully charged before your event.

    For hot foiling, I do need access to an outlet in case my portable heat tool stops working (rare, but can happen).
